Audrey and Noah: Fest Valley Events, Wisconsin

December 29, 2020

Audrey and Noah married in the midst of the covid pandemic. They pushed their June wedding to the fourth of July and it was the most beautiful day! After postponing their wedding, having to change their reception, and almost having to find a new ceremony spot- all in all Audrey only had to plan 3 weddings in total, and she did so seamlessly!

Their elegant heart of Wisconsin wedding was beautiful and love filled start to finish! From airdropping some ‘engagement’ photos we had done the night before, to the surprise first dance song, their day was elegant, seeping with joy, and covered in love of every participant of the day.

These two had so many precious moments throughout their day, so here are a few highlights! Noah was adamant about not seeing Audrey before the wedding ceremony, but they did a letter reading a few minutes before the ceremony! We found a quiet corner away from everyone and everything and they read the letters they had written to each other! Through many tears and eyes looking up at me as I photographed those beautiful moments they had SO MUCH ADORATION for their (now) spouse in their eyes! Being the person there at all the little in-between moments means I get to be the one with the honor of witnessing those moments of love, and the one hugging you as you excited cry about how amped you are to marry your person! It is a humbling experience being a witness of something so special and close to someone’s heart!

We snuck out at sunset, right after toasts and the cake cutting, for a half-hour to get their portraits done together. In the ditch, on the gravel road, and in a soybean field we went, and out came some of my favorite portraits! Solo portraits can be awkward, so I had Noah stand behind me and hype up his new wife with compliments, and reasons why he loves her and thinks his new bride is beautiful, and I had Audrey do the same for her new husband! These little moments are some of my favorites because the love and excitement is all so new and THRILLING.

The last beautiful moment, when I walked her dad out for the first look with his little girl, he told me of a surprise he had been planning on. Their first dance song was ‘Tenerife Sea’ by Ed Sheeran, her dad sister and uncle recorded their own version in a studio! So right before their first dance, her dad came up and made the announcement and you can see the shock in Audreys eyes! (To say it was a tearjerker, would be and understatement!!)

It’s all the beautiful in-betweens that make each wedding day unique! I have loved watching Audrey and Noah Kalthoff build their lives together and be there for them in these last 6 months of navigating marriage together! I love you two, alway and forever! ❤️
